Guided tour in the poet's home

Join us on a tour of Sigrid Undset's beautiful home!

Here at Bjerkebæk, Sigrid Undset lived with her three children, while she wrote the books for which she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. You will get an insight into her life as a mother, writer, social debater, Catholic and gardener.

The author's home is filled with her large collection of books, furniture, art and objects that she surrounded herself with to create a home.

Visitors to Bjerkebæk get to experience the home accompanied by a tour guide who tells about Sigrid Undset, her life and writing.

  • Duration: 30 minutes
  • Included in the entrance ticket
  • Max 15 persons per tour
  • Registration at the museum's hosts

The tour will be in English at these hours:
May, June and August: 13.30
July: 14.30
